Gram Niyojan Kendra has been engaged in promoting Women’s economic empowerment through skill-building and livelihood promotion for last three decades. Total 21833 number of women/ girls were trained till March 2023 since beginning of the intervention undertaken by GNK at Ghaziabad and other project areas in different trades like stitching, fashion designing , computer, beautician, embroidery etc.

Training includes in-person classes followed by onsite training at nursing homes/hospitals. Total 227 individuals have been trained since 2009, and more than 80% are successfully earning a regular income. At least two batches (10 to 15 candidates in each batch ) are covered in the training course every year.
