On April 10, 2026, Gram Niyojan Kendra,in partnership with Access to Justice for Children conducted a child marriage awareness drive across the villages of Madanpura, Damki (Mithaura Block), and Girahiya (Nichlaul Block)of Eastern UP, Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh.
The session focused on:
Understanding the harmful consequences of child marriage
Promoting the importance of girls’ education
Raising awareness about women’s legal rights
Sharing self-defense and personal safety tips
Rescue of Trafficked Minor Girls
Gram Niyojan Kendra,in partnership with Access to Justice for Children, in a powerful joint effort, rescued 16 minor girls who were trafficked and forced to work into the orchestra groups. The rescue operation was performed in District East Champaran, Bihar.

Building Financial Confidence among Women
On 13 March 2026, Gram Niyojan Kendra with the support of its CSR partner Micromatic Grinding Technologies successfully conducted a Financial Literacy Training Session for 46 women from underserved communities

International Women’s Day: Community Action Against Child Marriage
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Gram Niyojan Kendra ,with the support of Access to Justic for children, organized an awareness programme in Gonaha Block, West Champaran (Bihar) to engage women and adolescent girls in conversations around child marriage and girls’ rights.
