Retired from Indian administrative Service in 2016 after serving as Commissioner Skill Development & Industries. Earlier had served as Secretary, District Magistrate and other posts with Government of India, and other States in AGMUT Cadre of IAS.

In addition had served as Professor/ Senior Consultant N.I.A.R, dealing with Public Policy in Education and Social Sector schemes 2004-08 in Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration, Mussoorie.
