Dr. Awadh Prasad

Dr. Awadh Prasad has been associated with the Kumarappa Gram Swaraj Sansthan at Jaipur and with Senior Gandhian and Economist Prof. J.S. Kumarappa, since the year 1968. Dr. Prasad worked on various research studies, including the study on “Lok Adalat” led by Shri L.N. Sanghvi and Prof. Upendra Bakshi.  Dr. Prasad has led more than 15 studies, all of which have been published with support from ICSSR. 

Dr. Prasad is currently associated with many Rajasthan based NGOs and Khadi Institutions as member and member of Governing Body. Dr. Prasad has been associated with Gram Niyojan Kendra since 1993.

Dr. Awadh Prasad received elementary education through NaitaleemVidhalaya established by freedom fighter-cum-prominent expressionist Shri Dhirandra Mazumdar at Gram Munger, Bihar. Dr. Prasad graduated from Kashi Vidhyapeeth in Economic and received UGC fellowship as a topper of the University. After Ph.D. also, Dr. Prasad received fellowship from UGC for further research.
