Gram Niyojan Kendra has been instrumental in strengthening grassroot level organisations engaged in rural transformation by building their capacities and support towards organisational development.

Implementing comprehensive area development programmes for control and prevention of trafficking of girls and women for prostitution, is one of the flagship initiatives of the Kendra.

Gram Niyojan Kendra is presently working in the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Rajasthan and has three project offices located at Narkatiyaganj Bihar, Maharajganj Uttar Pradesh and at Bharatpur Rajasthan.
